I have always loved watching movies. Even the breakout ads.  Crazy as that sounds, I built my career on it, having launched two advertising agencies.  I also love engaging in the embedded narrative of a movie – that is the story within the story – and that’s why I also practice as a Counsellor.

Movies and music have been a natural combination since sound was first added to moving images in 1927. Whether a movie is a tear-jerking drama, an action-packed thriller, a side-splitting comedy or a roaring romance, the right soundtrack at the right moment impacts a scene. I’m Maggie Morgan, and on my program Meet Me At The Movies, I not only talk about the movie or documentary plot, but also the behind-the-scene stories of the actors, directors, producers and composers.

Also featuring on my program from time to time, will be current Australian movie interviews courtesy of Cinema Australia, which is an online space dedicated to the support and promotion of Australian made film through independent news, reviews, features and interviews.
